USA Sooq was born in 2019 above a small print shop on Boundary Street in Jacksonville. Our founder, Stephen Duncan, spent fifteen years selling handmade goods online — and he kept running into the same problem. Big platforms made it cheap to start, but almost impossible for honest sellers to be heard.
So he started something different. A marketplace where every seller gets a real onboarding call, every product listing gets a human review, and every customer can pick up the phone and reach a person in Florida.
Six years later, we're still small enough to know our top sellers by name, and big enough to deliver to all 49 mainland states. That balance is the whole point.
Stephen Duncan registers USA Sooq LLC in Florida and ships the first 42 orders himself from a rented garage on the south bank.
The platform crosses 200 active sellers. We launch the first version of our seller dashboard and weekly payouts.
USA Sooq moves into our current Boundary Street office and hires our first full-time customer support team.
We surpass 100,000 active shoppers and partner with three regional U.S. carriers for next-day shipping in the Southeast.
